Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Leonard Law Group LLC for legal services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms govern the attorney-client relationship and our legal services.

Legal Services

Leonard Law Group LLC provides legal services in the following areas:

• Personal injury and accident claims
• Family law and divorce proceedings
• Criminal defense representation
• Business law and contract matters
• Estate planning and probate
• Real estate transactions
• Employment law issues
• Immigration law matters

Attorney-Client Relationship

An attorney-client relationship is established only through a signed retainer agreement. Initial consultations do not create an attorney-client relationship until formal engagement occurs.

Fees and Payment

• Free initial consultations for new clients
• Contingency fees for personal injury cases (no fee unless we win)
• Hourly rates for other legal matters as specified in retainer agreement
• Flat fees available for certain services (estate planning, simple contracts)
• Payment plans available for qualifying clients
• Costs and expenses are separate from attorney fees

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide truthful and complete information
• Cooperate fully in the legal matter
• Pay fees and costs as agreed
• Maintain confidentiality when required
• Follow legal advice and court orders
• Promptly respond to communications

Scope of Representation

Our representation is limited to the specific legal matter described in the retainer agreement. We do not provide legal advice outside the scope of our engagement unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for legal services. We are not responsible for outcomes beyond our control or for decisions made against our legal advice.

Termination

Either party may terminate the attorney-client relationship with written notice. Clients remain responsible for fees and costs incurred prior to termination. We will provide client files upon request and payment of outstanding fees.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Oregon law and the Oregon Rules of Professional Conduct. Any disputes will be resolved in Oregon courts.
